Free for Bartow County residents (household waste).

Accepts

Free disposal of day-to-day household garbage for Bartow County residents, up to 80 cubic feet per day (a standard pickup bed below the rails); 1 mattress and box spring per day; 2 wood pallets per day; recyclables (cans, metal, plastic containers, newspaper, cardboard); appliances and furniture; up to 4 scrap tires per person per year; small amounts of home C&D (no more than 3 bundles of shingles); tree and shrub clippings (limbs under 2 in. diameter and 8 ft long); up to five 1-gallon or one 5-gallon can of paint per day; used motor oil.

Rules

Bartow County residents only (Bartow tag or driver's license); one load per resident per day; no business, rental-management or out-of-county waste. Loads over 80 cubic feet are sent to the Bartow County Landfill (up to 1 ton free per load with a Bartow driver's license). Refrigerators and Freon-containing HVAC units must go to the Recycling Center. Do not bring a loaded truck and trailer.
