For Vance County residents who pay the annual solid waste household user fee; residential waste only. Not accepted: construction and demolition debris (take to the GFL transfer station on NC 39 N for a fee), yard waste and brush, commercial or industrial waste, hazardous waste. Electronics go to the Transfer Station/Yard Waste facility at 3453 NC 39 Hwy N only. Lithium batteries banned from disposal starting Dec 1, 2026.
